Two days holidays in AP: Announced two days holidays in AP. ZPTC and MPTC  Elections, CS have issued orders announcing leave on the 7th and 8th of this month due to elections. CS Adityanath Das issued orders announcing leave to local government offices, schools, and institutions. He said that he was given leave on the 7th for election arrangements and on the 8th for polling. The government has also ordered shops and commercial establishments to be closed. The AP declared the day a paid holiday under the Shops and Establishments Act for employees and workers working in shops and companies.


The government has ordered that none of the government employees or officials should violate the prescribed rules and regulations. The government has ordered the closure of liquor stores 48 hours before the polls. Polling for the MPTC and ZPTC elections will be held on the 8th from 7 am to 5 pm. The counting of votes will take place on the 10th and the results will be announced.
