Recently, Surajpur Collector Ranbir Sharma in Chhattisgad slapped a young man on the road for violating lockdown rules. Without stopping, he grabbed the mobile phone in the young man’s hand and threw it on the ground. The incident was filmed on some cell phones and posted on social media. As a result, the video went viral. Netizens reacted strongly to the beating of a young man and the destruction of a mobile phone. The officer made large-scale comments misrepresenting the manner.

Collector Ranbir reacted to the transaction as the video went viral. He apologized to the young man who hit him on the cheek. However, he explained the reason for punishing the young man. At first, the young man said that he had come out for vaccination. But he has no evidence of that. Asked about this, he said that he was going to meet his grandfather. With that, I struck him in anger at that moment. His age is 23-24, not 13, as is happening on social media. Anyway, the officer said I apologize for what I did.
The collector, who apologized on the social media platform for regretting his mistake. Chhattisgad Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has issued orders dismissing Collector Ranbir Sharma for allegedly assaulting a youth for violating lockdown rules. The orders were announced to be executed immediately.
