Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to reduce the work pressure on the state medical health personnel working as front-line warriors in the wake of the corona boom. As part of this, it has been decided to invite applications from eligible doctors who have completed MBBS across the state and are ready. The CM directed the medical officers to immediately recruit doctors, nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists, and other paramedical personnel for a period of two to three months and utilize their services in corona medicine.
This is the step taken by CM KCR to reduce the work pressure on Health personnel in the State, he decided to recruit doctors and nurses.
They should be given salaries in a dignified manner. Also, they want to get proper recognition for their services as they are working for the state at a crucial time like Corona. The CM directed them to mix weightage marks in future government job placements.
CM KCR called on the young doctors to come forward to serve the people in difficult times. Those interested should apply online, the CM said. The CM called on doctors as well as qualified nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists, and other paramedical personnel in the state to come forward.
The Chief Minister has decided to start super-specialty hospitals in Warangal and Adilabad districts immediately and recruit medical staff. The Chief Minister directed the immediate opening of a 250-bed super-specialty hospital belonging to MGM on the premises of Kakathiya Medical College and another 250-bed super-specialty hospital at Kim’s, Adilabad district.
The CM also directed Finance Minister Ramakrishna Rao to immediately release Rs 8 crore from the government’s share for the construction of the super-specialty under construction at MGM under PMSSY, Rs 20 crore under the government’s share for the construction of the super-specialty hospital at Rims, and a total of Rs 28 crore.
On the same occasion, the CM directed the medical officers to take immediate steps to recruit 363 medical personnel for Warangal Hospital, 366 medical personnel for Adilabad Rims Super Specialty, and a total of 729 personnel.
CM KCR conducted a high-level review on the corona conditions prevailing in the state at Pragati Bhavan on Sunday. The meeting was attended by Ministers Tanneru Harish Rao, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, State Planning Commission Vice Presidents Boinapally Vinod Kumar, MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, IT, and Industries Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Medical Health Secretary Rizvi, Covid CMO Special Officer Rajasekhar Reddy, and Health Director, University of Health kalonji Karunakar Reddy, D. Chandra Shekhar Reddy, Managing Director of SMS to the T of C, Technical Advisor Gangadhar, and others were present.
During the review, the CM inquired with the authorities about the condition of oxygen, remediator injections, beds, and other corona facilities in the state. Health officials told the CM that there was no shortage of oxygen in the state, remedial injections were available and all other medicines were on standby.
A total of 7393 beds are available in government hospitals, 2470 oxygen beds, and 600 ventilator beds are ready. In addition to medication, medical teams are always available, he said. The CM, however, suggested that arrangements be made to make remedial injections more available in private hospitals.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister spoke to Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on the CM’s phone. The CM explained the steps being taken by the state for corona control. The CM made some valuable suggestions to the Union Minister on the steps to be taken in order to control the corona. It is advisable to identify the “fastest-spreading factors” that may increase the spread of the corona and vaccinate them early.
Auto drivers, cab drivers, conductors, boys, street vendors, and other commuters should be identified as those who have the potential to increase corona outbreaks and the rules should be relaxed to provide the vaccine. The CM said that by giving that facility to the states, it would be possible to curb most of the corona spread. Responding positively to the CM’s instructions, the Union Minister said that a decision would be taken after discussions with the Prime Minister.
