20,29,395 first dose was given to those aged 18-44 years. The first dose was given to 5,51,74,561 beneficiaries between the ages of 45-60 years. The second dose was also given to 65,55,714 people. The first dose was given to 5,36,72,259 people over 60 years of age and the second dose to 1,49,77,918 people. A total of 2,43,958 people aged 18-44 were vaccinated on the same day on Sunday. So far 20,29,395 people have been given the first dose.
Vaccine drive reached its 114th day on Sunday. 6,71,646 doses were administered in a single day, according to the Department of Health. Most states have not been vaccinated since Sunday is a holiday. Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry on Monday said that as part of the vaccination drive, nearly 18 crore vaccines have been supplied free of cost to states and union territories. 9 lakh doses will be given in the next three days.
