PM Modi takes initial dose of COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS Old Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday took the primary dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Taking to Twitter, the PM urged people who are eligible for the vaccine to require it.

He conjointly lauded the doctors and scientists for his or their fast response to defeat the coronavirus.

“Took my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS. Remarkable how our doctors and scientists have worked in quick time to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19. I appeal to all those who are eligible to take the vaccine. Together, let us make India COVID-19 free!” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive for people on top of 60 years and people aged 45 and above with comorbidities begins from March 1.

Citizens will register and book a briefing for vaccination, victimization the Co-WIN 2.0 portal, or through alternative IT applications like Arogya Setu.

Registrations for COVID-19 vaccination on the Co-WIN 2.0 portal can open at 9 am Monday at WWW.Cowin.Gov.In.
