Numbers that appear on the PAN card?
No financial transactions can be done without a PAN card. A PAN card is absolutely required in any investment scheme from bank to bank. But the most important thing is to link it with the Aadhaar number as soon as possible. The Income Tax Department has set June 30 as the last date for this. If not linked to your PAN card basis it will become inactive after June 30th. Another information related to PAN cards is to know the meaning of the numbers mentioned on them. The number written on the PAN card is called the Permanent Account Number (PAN). These alphanumeric numbers entered on the PAN card have a special meaning.
The alphanumeric number is entered below the date of birth written on the PAN card. According to the Income Tax Department. The first three digits of any PAN indicate the English alphabet. This alphabet can contain any three-letter English series from AAA to ZZZ. The fourth digit written on the PAN card shows the status of the income taxpayer. For example, suppose P is written then it shows that this PAN number is personal. I.e. belongs to one person. If F is written at the same time it will be known as the company number. Similarly, C refers to the company. AOP refers to the affiliation of individuals. T stands for confidence. H stands for Undivided Hindu Family. B refers to the person’s body. L denotes locale. J refers to an artificial legal person. G stands for Government.
