Mithali Raj sets new record in the women’s cricket team. India women’s team captain Mithali Raj, she holds the record for most runs in international women’s cricket. She achieved this feat at the individual score of 15 in the third ODI between India and England on Saturday night. Mithali surpasses England’s Charlotte Edwards’ record of 10,273 runs.
She scored 10,337 runs in three formats combined. She has scored 669 runs in 11 Tests so far and 7,304 runs in 217 ODIs. She scored 2,364 runs in 89 T20 matches. Cricket fans are celebrating as Mithali set the record. Celebrities congratulated her.
Meanwhile, Mithali Raj, she was unbeaten on 75 in the third ODI against England with eight fours. She remained at the crease till the end and led India to victory. England won the three-match ODI series 1-2.
