Minister Srinivas Goud distributing Kalyana Lakshmi cheques. Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud said parents should take advantage of the financial assistance being provided by the state government under the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme without incurring any debt for the marriage of a girl child. On Wednesday, he distributed checks to 58 Kalyana Lakshmi beneficiaries at the Hanwada Mandal Parishad office. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that Kalyana Lakshmi checks worth Rs 8 crore 9 lakh have been distributed to 1010 beneficiaries in the zone so far.
He said that despite the severe level of the corona, welfare programs for the people in the villages have not been stopped, and drinking water, electricity, pensions, and welfare Lakshmi schemes are being implemented. In addition to this, we go to the house and conduct a survey and find out the health condition of the people.
Authorities are working to make all the villages in the zone corona-free. Palamuru-Rangareddy said that all the ponds in the zone will be filled with irrigation water through the Lift Irrigation scheme. The people and public representatives urged the people to maintain social distance in the villages to stop the corona.
