The decision was taken to temporarily close public and private schools as well as colleges. With this, all the educational institutions in Greater will be closed from today.

The corona second wave is spreading rapidly. Collective education has been running since the last December with schools opening in Greater. The center lockdown regulations have been slowly easing. Students congregate in one place. It is not possible to follow the rules of the corona. Millions of students are enrolled in thousands of schools in Greater Hyderabad, with hundreds of cases being registered daily in educational institutions across the state. The government has taken a crucial decision as it has the potential to corona attacking students as well as teachers and spread to their families through them, and then to others.

Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy on Tuesday announced in the Legislative Assembly that schools would be closed from the 24th of this month. She said the state governments of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Chattisgad had already closed educational institutions. In this context, it has been announced that all hostels, gurukul schools, government, and private educational institutions, except medical colleges in the state, will be closed. education officials say online classes will continue as they have been in the past.

Closed from March 31 last year

The government has decided to close schools and colleges with the coronavirus from March 31, 2020. Schools that have been closed since then have reopened since December as the corona has declined somewhat. The government initially allowed only 9th, 10th classes and then 6th, 7th, and 8th classes. The corona epidemic, which kept all of us in serious trouble for a year, is once again showing its true colors. The corona is attacking again at a time when educational institutions are just falling into good results. Cases are steadily rising across the country. Corona is already positive for 700 students in Telangana and more than 400 of them are in Greater Hyderabad. Immunity is usually high in children. The positive symptoms of corona infection do not go away quickly. They believe that people who attend classes and went home cause corona to spread to family members.

The state medical health department on Monday reported the matter to the government. It is reported that the corona could not be tightened, especially if the educational institutions continued. The government decided to close the schools. Only last year’s inter-tests ran smoothly. The government has decided to promote 1st to 10th class students to upper classes without the exams. Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy met CM KCR yesterday afternoon. The meeting discussed at length the issue of closing down educational institutions. Later, Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy announced in the assembly that she was closing down educational institutions with KCR orders. Meanwhile, several states have already announced the closure of educational institutions as corona cases continue to rise.
