Lockdown extended in Telangana for more than 10 days: Under 2005 Disaster Management Act.
The Telangana government has extended the lockdown for another 10 days. The state imposed a lockdown from today until June 9 under the 2005 Disaster Management Act. The government has made it clear that there will be a complete lockdown every day from 2 PM to morning 6 AM and that there will be relaxations from 6 AM to 1 PM, while offices and shops will be closed until 1 o’clock. Exemption from lockdown for medical-health, agricultural, allied, manufacturing, sanitation, employment, essentials, e-commerce, construction work on site.
Interstate services do not run

It clarified that all forms of public transport would be allowed during the relaxation and that interstate bus services, including private operators, would not be permitted. The ban on religious, sporting, cultural, and entertainment rallies and gatherings will continue, with a maximum of 40 people allowed for weddings and a maximum of 20 for funerals. KCR said all the offices in the state government including medical-health, police, local bodies, fire, electricity, water supply, taxes, registrations, transport, agriculture, allied, and civil supplies departments will be fully operational. It clarified that petrol pumps in all areas except national highways should be operational till one o’clock in the afternoon. The government has said that everyone should be in full compliance with the Covid19 rules, such as wearing a mask and adhering to physical distance. Warned that strict action would be taken against those who violated the rules.
