CM KCR warned Andhra Pradesh over Rayalaseema Project:
Chief Minister KCR warned the Andhra Pradesh government about the Rayalaseema project. He said that there was no compromise on the issue of water even if lost the life. The Chief Minister made it clear that we will make a Movement on the Rayalaseema project in all its forms. Congress MLA and CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka were asked about the steps being taken by the Telangana government on the Rayalaseema project during the debate on the currency exchange bill in the Assembly on Friday. CM KCR responded to this and said no compromise on water.
“There are also restraining orders (stay) on the Rayalaseema project headed by the AP government. The National Green Tribunal also granted a stay. We have complained to the Central Government about this project. We informed the Center about the project, which is completely absurd and we are agitating on this in all forms. There is no question of abandoning it and compromise is not going to happen. The government is taking all possible measures on this project. If necessary, all members of the legislature will go to delhi and fight, but there is no question of compromising on water rights, “KCR clarified.
“The AP leaders are adamant about the RDS. Going by the old system, today Telangana is not in a state of disorientation. We take exactly 15.9 TMC of water in RDS and even we will not leave a single drop of water if needed. Telangana is an autonomous state. We will protect the rights of the people, ”Chief Minister KCR clarified.
