Indian Squad for Sri Lanka tour announced by BCCI:

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian squad for the limited-overs tour of Sri Lanka in July. Team India will play three ODIs from July 13 to 25. Three T20s will be played. If so .. Shikhar Dawan, who is recognized as a senior and experienced cricketer in the team, has been selected as the team captain. Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been selected as the vice-captain for the tour. Many first-choice players, including India captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma, do not play in the Srilanka. The reason is that they are on the England tour.

Shikhar Dhawan (Captain), Prithvi Shah, Devdutt Padikkal, Gaikwad, Suryakumar Yadav, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Nitish Rana, Ishan Kishan (wicket-keeper), Sanju Samson (wicket-keeper), Yuzvendra Chahal, Rahul Chahar r, K. Gautam, Krunal Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakraborty, Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Vice-Captain), Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini, Chetan Zakaria.

Net bowlers: Ishan Porel, Sandeep Warrior, Arshdeep Singh, Sai Kishore, Simarjeet Singh

All matches of the tour will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Batsmen Nitish Rana, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devdutt Padikkal, and left-arm pacer Chetan Sakariya, who have excelled in the 2021 Indian Premier League, received their first call-ups for the tour. Prithvi Shah, Sanju Samson, and Manish Pandey have recently returned to the Indian team. According to unofficial information, Rahul Dravid will be coaching the Indian team on this tour. However, his appointment has not yet been confirmed by the BCCI.
