Himanshu Rao Kalvakuntla: Prestigious award for KCR Grandson for organizing a program called SHOMA.

Himanshu Rao Kalvakuntla, the grandson of Telangana Chief Minister KCR and son of Minister KTR, received the prestigious Diana Award. Himanshu revealed this via Twitter. Himanshu said on Twitter that the award was given to him for successfully organizing a program called SHOMA. The aim of this program is to take the villages towards self-sufficiency.

Himanshu said in a tweet that he was very happy to receive the award. On the occasion, Himanshu thanked his grandfather, CM KCR, who had guided him in making the program a success. On this occasion, he especially thanked the people of Gangapur-Yousuf Khan Palli and his teachers.

This award is given to people between the ages of nine and 25. For work done with a humanitarian perspective for change in society. The award is named after Princess Diana of Wales, who died 25 years ago. The main objective of the SHOMA program is to create awareness among the villagers on the issue of adulteration in food products and to encourage them to achieve empowerment in the production of non – adulterated products.
