An Indo-Australian company is preparing to uncover gold deposits in the Jonnagiri area of Kurnool district. A full-fledged Australian Indian Resource Limited company has identified gold deposits in the Jonnagiri area. The company, which has identified gold reserves, began efforts in 2005 to obtain the necessary approvals for the project.
While 1500 acres were required for this project .. 350 acres had to be purchased. The company is leasing another 1150 acres. Project permits have been delayed due to severe delays in mining leases and environmental clearances.
Gold mining will begin earlier in this first block. The company then decided to mine in three more blocks. It aims to extract 750 kg of gold annually. It is estimated that a total of about 30 to 40 tonnes of gold deposits can be extracted from these four blocks combined.
The Australian Indian Resource Limited will soon be ready to undertake gold mining with full suspicion now available. In fact, the project was supposed to start within the last year. Permits were delayed due to corona. Now that full permits are available, all arrangements for gold mining will be made. AIRL is set to start mining gold next year, after April 2022.
