Goa Lockdown till May 3:
With the corona epidemic booming, many states in the country are beginning to impose partial or full lockdowns. Recently several state governments have been going through lockdowns in a row. Recently the Goa state government took a crucial decision in the wake of the corona calm, lockdown would be imposed from Thursday.
State Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced that a complete lockdown would be imposed in the state from 7 pm on April 29 to 7 am on May 3. The Goa government said the decision was taken as corona cases were on the rise across the country. The Goa Lockdown till May will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Made it clear that emergency services would be allowed in the lockdown.
The Goa CM clarified that this tough decision was inevitable as the number of corona positive cases was steadily increasing. Similarly, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said that the state borders will be opened for the transportation of emergency goods. But, he said, public transport was being discontinued. Casinos, hotels, and pubs will also be completely closed, he said.
