Darshan at Kaleshwara temple will be canceled: Corona’s second wave is booming in Telangana. There have been more than tens of thousands of covid cases and more than 50 deaths recently. At the moment the government is on high alert and enforcing night curfew in the state. Authorities have already decided to suspend darshans at several temples in view of the rising number of cases. Recently, the Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district has also taken a key decision. Officials said Darshan at Kaleshwara temple is being suspended from May 28 to May 5 this month.
Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple officials said the decision was taken as corona cases were on the rise in the state and the district. However, It was revealed that the priests always perform worships and anointings to the Lord.
Two temple staff and a priest have already confirmed Corona’s positive and more than 50 cases have been reported in the village. Apart from the state, devotees from Maharashtra and Chhattisgad are coming more and more.
If so, there are huge cases being registered in Telangana. 10,122 positive cases were reported on Monday. In addition, 52 people were killed in a single day yesterday. So far the total number of cases in the state has reached 4,11,905. The number of deaths has increased to 2,094. There are currently 69,221 Active cases across the state.
