It is learned that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday morning launched 1,088 ambulances in Vijayawada. Also, Natco Cancer Block was launched at Guntur GGH Hospital via video conference. In addition, the salaries of 108 staff have been increased drastically. Earlier, drivers were paid Rs 10,000 a month, but now they will be paid between Rs 18,000 and Rs 20,000 depending on their service. CM Jagan also announced an increase in the salaries of emergency medical technicians. A medical technician who is currently receiving a salary of Rs 12,000 will now get a salary of Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000, said CM Jagan.
