Charge sheet on Revanth Reddy in ‘note for vote‌ case’:

Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on Thursday filed a charge sheet in the Hyderabad Sessions Court and PMLA Special Court against all the six accused, including MP Revanth Reddy.

Revanth Reddy and MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, in the ‘note for vote‌ case’. The names recorded in this charge sheet include the names of Bishop Harry Sebastian, Rudra Sivakumar, Uday Sinha, Matthew Jerusalem, and Krishna Psalms.

It is known that in 2015, the ‘note for vote‌ case’ for voting in two Telugu states caused a sensation. TDP leaders have been negotiating for the vote of TRS MLA Stephenson to elect TDP’s Narender Reddy as MLA. Against this backdrop, the deal went up to Rs 5 crore.

On May 30 of the same year, the then TDP MLAs Revanth Reddy and Sebastian reached an agreement to give Rs 50 lakh to Stephenson. ACB officials, who had already received a complaint, and caught Revanth Reddy and Sebastian red-handedly while they were returning the money in Stephenson’s house the next day.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the money was compiled by the son of TDP MLC candidate Narender Reddy. Meanwhile, Rewanth Reddy, who has been named as the accused in the case, is currently the state working president of the Congress and a Member of Parliament for Malkajgiri.

Sandra Venkata Virayya is the TRS MLA from Sattupally. However, the ACB at the time concluded that attempts had been made to raise the Rs 50 lakh owed to Stephenson in the case through money laundering. The entire officers who entered the field with the information they received on this carried out an investigation.

The above accused were interrogated. Authorities said the entire investigation was underway, especially in terms of the extent to which money laundering was involved in the case. To this end, they have completed their investigation and filed a charge sheet in the Nampally Sessions Judge’s Court as well as in the Special Court for PMLA Cases.
