Border Restrictions on ambulances of Andhra Pradesh: Telangana police are enforcing strict restrictions at the border. The police do not allow the vehicles of Corona patients coming to Telangana from Andhra Pradesh for treatment of Corona.
Ambulances will be allowed in hospitals in Telangana only if they have bed confirmation and permission from the hospital, police said. Police are blocking and sending back vehicles coming with corona patients without the permission of the hospitals.
The Telangana police only allow ordinary motorists. The Telangana police have been conducting inspections of Border Restrictions on ambulances at the Pullur tollgate in Kurnool district since this morning along with the inter-state border at Ramapuram in the Kodada zone of Suryapet district in Telangana.
Ambulances carrying corona patients from Andhra Pradesh are being intercepted and sent back to these border areas. Corona cases are on the rise in Andhra Pradesh. In this context, the police said that Corona patients were not allowed into Telangana. Other vehicles coming from Andhra Pradesh are allowed.
