Royal challengers Bangalore won the thriller second match of the 14th season of the IPL. Sunrisers Hyderabad lost by 6 runs in a thrilling match at Chepauk Stadium on Wednesday. Hyderabad scored 143 for 9 in 20 overs to chase down a small target of 150 runs. The Bengaluru bowlers, who were provoked at crucial times, gave their team a spectacular victory. The 16th over left Hyderabad with a huge loss. Warner’s team lost three wickets in a single over. This is a big turning point for the match.

Captain David Warner (7 fours off 54/37 balls, 1 six) and Manish Pandey (2 fours, 3 sixes off 38/39 balls) struggled. After the two were out, the match went to Bangalore at once. Along with Maxwell’s half-century, run machine Virat Kohli (4 fours off 33/29 balls) gave Bangalore a 149-run lead. Devadatta Padikkal (11), Shabazz Ahmed (14), Ab De Villiers (1), and Washington Sundar (8) were severely disappointed. Holder took three wickets in the Sunrisers bowlers.
