Asha activist suicide attempt in Anantapur. An Asha activist from Cherlopalli in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. Asha activist has attempted suicide because of YSR CP leaders who allegedly sexually harassed her. The incident took place on Monday. The Asha activist revealed that she was constantly harassed by some YSR party leaders in Cherlopalli.
They are threatening to spend time with them, to do as they are told, or she will lose the job. She said that she was offended by YSR CP leaders harassment and tried to commit suicide by drinking vasmol oil. According to the victim complaint, the police have registered a case and are investigating.
However, politics started on this incident. Former minister and TDP leader Paritala Sunita have expressed anger over the ruling YCP leaders. The anarchy of the ruling party leaders in the villages is said to be high. Sunita demanded immediate action.
MLA Prakash Reddy responded to these comments. In the case of Asha Worker, he said that retail politics should be avoided. It was made clear that there would be serious action against anyone involved in the incident. Currently, the Asha activist health is in good condition.
