Andhra Pradesh High Court inquiry into the treatment of corona patients: Corona is booming in the AP. Cases are being recorded at a high level on a daily basis. Whether the AP government is taking action against reducing corona cases, the number of cases is not decreasing at all. In this context, the AP High Court held an inquiry into the treatment received by corona patients. The Andhra Pradesh High Court has issued key directions in this regard.
Social activist Thota Suresh has filed a lengthy hearing in the AP High Court on petitions filed by the AP Civil Liberties Association. The High Court directed the government to immediately set up flying squads on hospital treatment, collection of fees, and other matters.
The High Court directed that display boards should be set up on corona patients in hospitals and details of beds in hospitals and there should be a daily review on ‘Remdesivir injections’ and ‘Emergency Medicines’. The High Court also directed that appropriate measures be taken to ensure that there should not be a shortage of oxygen in the state.
It also said that a daily review should be conducted on oxygen deficiency. Isolation centers should be set up in the state and beds should be made available.
