VK Saraswat, a member of the Nitish Aayog, made key remarks regarding the Second Wave booming and the sinking Third Wave. He said in an interview with PTI that the country had succeeded in curbing the second wave and hence the number of corona cases in the country was steadily declining. He said he was satisfied with the way the second wave was tied up.
Our science and technology, the establishment of oxygen banks, the use of railway services for the supply of oxygen, the use of airports, the use of Army services, etc. have been analyzed as giving good results. He said that in the past 4 lakh corona cases were registered per day but now he is happy to bring that number to 1.3 lakh. At the same time, he said, the country needed to be prepared to face the Third Wave.
When can the third wave come?
VK Saraswat also answered the question of when the corona third wave will come in the country. Medical experts say that the third wave in the country is a fact. He said medical experts were of the opinion that the third wave was likely to start in September-October. By then, as many people as possible need to be vaccinated.
